We want the Bahamas Visitors Guide to be usable by as many visitors as possible. We are working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA, but have not completed an independent audit and do not claim full conformance.

Features

The website includes keyboard focus indicators, image descriptions, labelled search fields, a skip-to-content link and keyboard-accessible cookie choices. Optional maps and weather can remain disabled. Photo slideshows respect reduced-motion preferences and provide pause controls.

Known limitations

Third-party maps and weather may have accessibility limitations. Some advertiser images and scanned guide pages contain text that is not available as structured text. Colour contrast, zoom, assistive-technology behaviour and all content still need a full accessibility audit.
